The analyst will support the Director in preparing requests for proposal for all steel parts in Nextpower product and India suppliers as well as analyzing offers and cost/capacity models. We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Passionate drive to innovate and create Integrity to the core Enthusiastic customer focus Consistent interactive teamwork Desire for continuous improvement and top performance Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do… Identify patterns in cost analysis to drive sourcing strategy Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) Analyze steel markets and perform supplier screening and qualification Review and analyze quotations Develop and maintain suppliers’ scorecards Support new supplier development and qualification Support process optimization in the Supply Chain department Here is some of what you’ll need (required)… Solid structuring and analytical skills to keep track of multiple projects and vendors, in an international and multicultural environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Strong data analysis skills required Experience with VBA and PowerBI preferred Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) Fluent oral and written communications in English Results orientation and demonstrated ability to think out of the box to drive results Ability to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexibly Autonomous Here are a few of our preferred experiences… Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or business major; graduate degree preferred We are looking for someone with 5-10yrs of experience Previous experience in Supply Chain, solar and/or steel sector preferred Experience working in an international environment Nextpower is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
