Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier development and quality assurance, particularly within the electronics and electrical sectors. This role is critical in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards and that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. - Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their capabilities and performance. - Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions using methodologies such as CAPA, 8D, and FMEA. - Monitor supplier performance metrics and report findings to management. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability. - Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards and best practices. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of supplier development and quality engineering principles. - Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including CAPA, 8D, and FMEA. - Experience in the electronics or electrical industry, with a focus on components such as motors and compressors. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey quality expectations and requirements.
