Role & responsibilitiesTo lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, stores, inventory management, logistics, vendor development, and material planning to ensure uninterrupted production, cost efficiency, inventory accuracy, and timely customer deliveries in an investment casting manufacturing environment.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and bought-out components.Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock holding to support production requirements.Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Sales departments for effective planning.Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.Monitor supplier performance through periodic reviews.Implement Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and supply chain best practices.Lead and develop Purchase, Stores, and Logistics teams.Set KPIs and conduct periodic performance reviews.Identify training needs and build team capabilities.Preferred candidate profileBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) preferred.10 to 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchase, Stores, and LogisticsExperience in Investment Casting, Foundry, Precision Manufacturing, Automotive Components, Engineering, or Metal Industry preferred .
