Category Lead - Food / FMCG

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Lead for our Food / FMCG division based in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management, with a proven track record of driving P&L growth in the food sector. As a Category Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that align with our business objectives and enhance our market position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement category strategies that drive sales and profitability. - Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities within the food and FMCG sectors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment on category initiatives. - Manage the P&L for the assigned categories, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams. - Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business goals. - Lead and mentor a team of category managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
