The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As the Global Indirect Procurement Specialist - Travel & Fleet , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. This role will be based in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and will operate as an individual contributor role . Lead global sub-category management for Fleet Cars (FSE), Fleet Services, Leasing Providers, Travel Services, and Meetings & Events. Develop and implement global sub-category strategies that support business continuity, resilience, cost savings, and value creation. Manage supplier selection, supplier relationships, negotiations, scorecards, performance reviews, and contract administration. Drive supplier consolidation, profitability improvement, free cash flow, and working capital goals through strategic sourcing and negotiations. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as EWS Travel, Fleet leaders, Finance, and regional teams to align priorities and improve outcomes. Ensure suppliers deliver competitive pricing, high quality, strong service levels, and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) 10 years or more of combined sourcing, procurement, supply chain experience in a private, public, government, or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Strong supplier relationship management, negotiation, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Results-driven self-starter with attention to detail, project management excellence, process orientation, and strong execution capability.
