We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Export Executive to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth logistics processes. This role requires a proactive approach to documentation and communication, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and provide regular reporting on import/export activities to management.
- Follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Manage document release processes to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper handling and storage of goods during import/export processes.
